I am submitting this photo as my entry for the photo of the month. Why this photo you may be asking yourself out of the 100's I have taken? I will tell you why. I think we were camping at LCR just to check the place out on a weekend after Steve mentioned the place on a web site forum as a campground to host an Oklahoma Pop-Up camper rally. I hadn't had my camper for very long and the rally would be so much fun to try. During our stay on Saturday night the live bands came out. The music struck my soul. I grew up with the very sounds that were playing and it was a cheerful reminder of my deceased mother who had died of colon cancer at the age of 57. I felt welcomed by everyone at the campground and just hearing the same old songs I grew up hearing in my house, I felt at home at LCR. I submit the picture of the band that was playing during my first stay at LCR, since it really brought tears of joy to me when we heard them for the first time.
